Australia day, 26/1/07 .. Pykes is a local water supply; the water level should be around the eye level of the shot (the dark mark midway up the opposite bank) or 5-7 metres above my head.
Our prime miniature wants the federal government to wrest all water control from the States.. if he does this and makes a mess similar, as he has with Health, Education, Foriegn Policy, Trade & Industrial Relations... then I might be able to show you the bottom, too. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. To help support the Literature community we hold regular contests. It is an opportunity for you to get involved and gain some exposure. Really hits home about the drought, eh? I live in Brisbane, and so it doesn't seem as drastic here.
Meanings aside, excellent composition, I like the way the ground seems to curve up towards the water, gives it an almost surreal twist. The blue of the water and sky also contrasts nicely with the ground.
